Efficiency, collaboration, and effective communication are essential to the business success of Web developers, multimedia developers, and print media artists. Since the commercialization of the Internet, many creative professionals have cobbled together email and extranet tools to facilitate these “essentials.” The tools have been a boon for streamlining collaboration and client communication, but they also have diverted precious time from many a professional’s core business - creating work product for clients - to setting up and maintaining infrastructure. New services exist that that enable creative professionals to focus on what they like to do best while others setup, maintain, and support the infrastructure. Join us on Tuesday, September 24, to learn about Adobe Design Team, a subscription offering described by the company as “an efficient and secure way for creative teams and clients to collaborate anytime, anywhere.” The hosted online service offers even one-person shops the ability to provide centralized file sharing, conduct online review sessions, and securely deliver files to clients. Come evaluate its possibilities for helping you work smarter, not harder. This program is a co-production of the Art and Entrepreneurs' SIGs. If you are coming from the north, go STRAIGHT at exit traffic light (onto Northgate Drive). You are now on a one-block-long street (Northgate Drive). Turn LEFT at the end onto Las Gallinas. Marin Nexus is to your left. (To your right is Northgate parking and Macy’s.) Turn LEFT into Nexus’ driveway and park in the lot at the BACK of the building. Or use additional parking, if available, across the street in the Northgate lot. |
