An overview of AcademyX staff's favorite freeware, nagware, crippleware, and adware programs. You will be introduced to a number of applications and languages such as Star Office Desktop Suite, IIS or Apache and others.
Stephen Fraga is the Founder and President of AcademyX. Since 1998, AcademyX has provided web design and development classroom training in San Francisco. Stephen has extensive experience as a computer programming consultant and web developer prior to founding AcademyX. Stephen has taught various courses since 1998, including HTML, ASP, JavaScript, PHP/MySQL, Perl, ColdFusion and MS Access. Stephen has been guest speaking at various organizations, such as a local San Francisco public access channel, non-profits (OP-NET & BAVC) and user groups (Sonoma County Web Guild & SF ColdFusion Users Group). Marin Community Foundation 5 Hamilton Landing Novato, CA From South of Novato: Highway 101 North Exit at Hamilton Field/Nave Dr. Veer RIGHT at the end of the exit ramp. Follow Nave Drive going north, parallel to 101. Turn RIGHT at Main Gate Road, which leads into Hamilton AFB. At Crescent, Main Gate Road becomes Palm Drive. Go to end of Palm Drive. Turn RIGHT onto Hangar Avenue. Right after you pass So. Palm Drive, go a short distance and take an immediate left into the parking lot. MCF is in Hangar 5, at 5 Hamilton Landing.
